Welcome to Shin's E-portfolio! :D

This website will tell you what it is like to be an adventure student, and it will showcase my favorite projects from each class throughout the year.

What does it mean to you to be an AdVENTURE student?

< Dont forget to < check out my < blog!

To me, being an adventure student means that you get a speacial kind of education that will prepare you for the future. They make you reflect on your own projects and assignments, so we can gather our information. This will help you when you have your own career because you will be able to see what you need to improve on, and what to continue doing as you work.

In adventure, you will need to know how to cooperate with other people. There are a lot of group projects, which means that you have to be flexible when someone has a different oppinion than you. In a way, this also prepares you for the future because to create good ideas, you have to think together, and people won't want to work with someone that does not take other peoples oppinion into consideration.

In adventure, you will work on projects which has a bigger impact to you than just doing worksheets or writing essays. This means that you will learn things more efficiently as a visual learner. The hands on aspect of the projects also makes learning more fun than it typically is.

In adventure, technology is a part of pretty much every class. We use it for typing essays, research, blogs, webquests, and many more things. We are always expected to turn things in online, and on time. This makes things easier and more efficient for both the students and the teachers. This means that there is time to learn more things, or learn the things with more depth.

In conclusion, to be an adventure student means that you get to work with technology, and have many hands on projects to work on. The teachers care for your future, and prepare you for high school, college, and you career. Being an adventure student means that you care about your education and want to get the most out of your middle school experience.
