"The speech that ended the civil war" essay

 

     This project was not necessarily the most fun I had, but I was really happy with the outcome of the essay. I got my idea across well, and I got to think about it in depth. There was so much to learn from the topic, and all of the information lead to making a good essay. It was the best out of all of the essays we had to do in our core classes.

 

 

 

     This essays purpose was to persuade whether the gettysburg address or the emancipation proclimation was the leading cause to the end of the Civil War. I personally thought that it was the Gettysburg address. Some other people had different oppinions, and it was interesting to see the reasoning for their positions. We got to learn what the prupose of each speach was and what kind of message it sent to the people that it was given to. We also got to act out some plays on each speach after our essays were done, and that was fun. I think I will remeber that for a really long time, if not forever.
