Trigonometric Ratios Presentation

This project was assigned in Febuary and was basically meant to be a way for each person to teach the rest of the class about the history of something we had learned in the past. Some people made posters, and others made reports. It was a great learning experience because you could tell how each concept tied together because they were invented or discovered by the same person. I really enjoyed this project because it was a fun way to learn about how something became to be.

For my project, I decided to make it about trigonometric ratios. I was interested in this because trigonometric ratios are so complicated, so whoever discovered it had to be very smart. It turns out he was, because after listening to other peoples presentations, I found out that he had discovered many other things. This project has made me wonder "who discovered this concept?", every time we learn something new. I think that this is good because it makes me an indevidually motivated learner.

Unfortunately, this was the only project we had in math because it is seperate from adventure. I think that if we did more projects, it would make our learning experience better.
